State of Nature Campaign
We must put nature's recovery into law before it's too late.
On Wednesday 8 July we handed in our petition to Rt Hon George Eustice MP, the Environment Secretary.
Over 208,000 people signed the petition.
We were joined at the hand-in by a cross-party group of Parliamentarians who are supporting the State of Nature target.
The Environment Bill returns to Parliament in September, when we hope the Government will listen and set a clear target to halt the decline of nature by 2030.
Please continue to contact your MPs in the meantime and let them know why we so urgently need a “net zero for nature” in law.
